The salary for this part-time, permanent position is within the range $62,671 to $83,030 per annum pro rata based on the PSA Allied Public Health and Technical MECA, (Steps one to eight) dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

We are preferably looking for an New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with children and being part of multi-disciplinary team. You will work with children who have neuro-developmental disorders, sensory issues, physical disability, co-ordination and functional difficulties and much, much more. You will work collaboratively with other services such as Ministry of Education, Needs Assessment Services, Ti Piki Oranga, Plunket, Explore, Child and Adolescent Mental Health to name a few. The role will require you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.

The Child Development Service (CDS) team has a strong commitment to child protection and is dedicated to helping children achieve optimum function and wellbeing. We provide multi-disciplinary therapy for children with disabilities referred to the service, in partnership with their whanau; this role is based in the community at the Marlborough Community Health Hub in the centre of town.
