This role is primarily based at Nelson Hospital and can include a rotation to the clinic at the Motueka Community Health Service. You will primarily be working within the outpatient physiotherapy team providing care for clients with a wide range of conditions, primarily musculoskeletal. You will enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing quality assessment and goal orientated interventions, through a patient-centred approach. This role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.

The full-time equivalent salary for this position in within the range $63,702 to $85,992 (Steps 2 to 8) based on the PSA Allied Public Health and Technical MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

We are looking for an experienced clinician who has a genuine passion for working with clients and being part of a dynamic and supportive Physiotherapy team. You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies.

For the health and safety of staff and patients all Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 including boosters.
