About the role

This permanent, full-time position (working 80 hours a fortnight, as rostered) is based within the physiotherapy team at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim, providing rehabilitation input to outpatients and community for a variety of conditions such as neurological, musculoskeletal and deconditioning. There is the opportunity for experience across a broad range of areas with support to further develop your physiotherapy skills.

You will be working as part of an inter-disciplinary team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning through a patient-centred approach. These roles require you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.

You will also be part of the weekend oncall roster.

About you

We are looking for clinicians with a genuine passion for working with clients and being part of an inter-disciplinary team. You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem solving skills and the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. Experience working with clients with neurological conditions is desirable. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies.
