We have two positions available at Nelson Hospital

Inpatients, full-time – 80 hours a fortnight

You will enjoy working within the inpatient physiotherapy team, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing quality assessment and goal orientated interventions through a patient-centered approach. This role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs. Day of work will be via agreement and this role will contribute to the weekend and on call roster.

Emergency Department, full-time – 80 hours a fortnight or part time as a job-share

You will require broad clinical knowledge and experience, value teamwork and be an innovative and flexible thinker who is motivated by excellent clinical outcomes. This role also requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs. Usual hours of work will be rostered Monday to Friday between the hours of 0600 and 2000 and this role will contribute to the weekend and on call roster.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

We are looking for clinicians who have a genuine passion for working with clients and being part of a dynamic and supportive Physiotherapy team. You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies.

For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, including boosters.
